Thank you SO much for such an incredible trip. I booked this solo trip very last minute and really wanted to make it happen after getting laid off from my job. It was a big risk coming from Canada and doing a trip to a country I had very little knowledge of.
The partnership with Dutch Bike Tours was fantastic and provided me with an experience that will last a lifetime. The hotels were INCREDIBLE and the days went very smoothly. The villages I biked through were safe and all so different - I really felt like I was biking through history. The experience I had was something like none other, I likely wouldn't have visited many of these villages if I was just taking a trip to Amsterdam.
I feel very accomplished saying that I've biked across Holland on my own. Thank you!!"

My first long-distance town-to-town bike trip was a huge success! The Netherlands is a very flat country so it was the perfect choice. Also, it is BEAUTIFUL! Our trip brought us along the coast line (had a lovely beach stop), through farm land, to historic picturesque Dutch towns, a national park, and ended in positively gorgeous Amsterdam! I got to learn about how windmills control the water level, and became a cheese “master” in Gouda! Unforgettable.

Four of us traveled from Bruge to Amsterdam last two weeks of September. The trip went off without a hitch. We loved traveling through the Nederlands on bikes. Two of us used E bikes and two regular bikes - although E bikes were not totally necessary. We had a bit of rain and wind and were thankful for our wet weather gear. For the most part we traveled on bike routes that were not car centric although there were a few times we had to share narrow roads with cars.

This trip across the Netherlands was my present to my wife to celebrate her 50th birthday. It was the best possible gift. She was thrilled. The routes were beautiful and easy to follow. My wife took over 1000 photos in six days. That is proof this trip was exactly the right gift.

I loved the peace and quiet of this route. There were lots of ferry trips and lovely old towns. A highlight for me was visiting the Kinderdijk windmills and finding out what they are used for, and looking around inside one.
